Caste and Gender in the Left Movement

The left mobilization which claims to have transcendental vision – to go beyond capitalism – is in decline. This can be seen across India. The question to be asked, then, is why has it been declining/weakening. The paper attempts to find an inconclusive answer because among many variables such as the changing material realities tham might be producing conditions, temporarily, to weaken the revolutionary consciousness it looks at only one.
